About the Author: Mavis P. McCall is a native of the Westbank of New Orleans. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. She has also been involved in church ministry, which included counseling young girls living in a Christian Maternity Home and speaking engagements with women and children at church conferences and seminars.
